There are virtually hundreds of Waterpik reviews out there and although you can tell by their tone and author that they are indeed honest they don’t all coincide. In fact there are as many good reviews as there are bad reviews. After doing a lot of research I realized that most of the differences were generated by the reviewed model. The fact is that the Waterpik Company has been on the market for over 40 years and in that time they have released a lot of products, all improvements of the previous model. Of course there were people very happy with the model the came out in the 80s and that’s what made the company survive and there are people who are genuinely not happy with the model that has only recently came out. So what I decided to do was to get all my friends and family to use the latest models for a month so that they could return them, if they didn’t like them and just help me out with some honest Waterpik reviews.

I also bought one so the Waterpik reviews you are about to read are based on my experience as well as on that of my friends. The models I have used the most is the Waterpik Ultra because it has the most heads and it also seems to be the most precise and powerful. I can honestly say that I was very excited about the feeling of cleanliness I had from the first week I used it. I did start it off very gently at the 2 setting of intensity and gradually worked my way up to 7 although it felt a bit too invasive and I took it down to a 6. After a couple of days I went back to 7 and stayed there for the rest of the testing period. Afterward both I and my family went to the dentist for a regular checkup and I was amazed because he actually noted that there was something very healthy looking about my family’s gums. Particularly my 7 year old daughter who had not been an avid flosser before, because of the test we decided to run, she had the most impressive improvement. And the doctor also noted a great improvement with me too although I had been flossing before. Ultimately, all my friends who have been using the Waterpik Ultra came back with positive Waterpik reviews and kept on using their models.

And speaking of my 7 year old, the children’s Waterpik reviews were the most impressive for me because they had been using the Cordless Waterpik which is specially designed for people with small hands and children. And I don’t know about you but all the children I know hate flossing. They hate brushing their teeth too, but that’s entirely another story, and getting them to use the Waterpik was a great advantage because they tend to regard it as a bit of a toy, I also add a bit of mouthwash to their water so it tastes better, and my daughter just loves the taste and the feeling she is left behind. And the fact is that all the Waterpik reviews from the parents reflected the same results with their children.

Ultimately I wanted to also test my theory about the Waterpik reviews concerning older models and I used for the first couple of weeks the Waterpik WP-360W which is an older model. It does look a bit more old school but besides that I can’t really say I had any problems with it. One morning when I was particularly sleepy and just going through the motions without really paying attention I did take a bit longer and the water finished up on me and I did have to recharge it every 3 day for a couple of hours, but I wouldn’t go as far as to call it a bad model. In fact the fact that it is so cheap compared with the other models makes me think that I this model might just have the best price/quality ratio of all the products. Still it does have some shortcomings and as far as I am concerned I would follow the great Waterpik reviews of the first models and just go with one of them.
